§ 102-114. Officers; meetings; quorum.

  • The commission shall hold an organizational meeting to select from its membership a chairman, secretary, and such other officers as provided for in the commission's bylaws. The commission shall also designate the time and place of future meetings to be held at regular intervals. For matters concerning bylaws, a quorum shall be 51 percent of the total membership of the commission. On all other matters, action may be taken if approved by a majority of the members attending a called meeting; but in no event shall any action be taken with less than eight members present and voting.
