§ 110-29. Platting fee and recording plat.

(a)

A platting fee in the amount established by the board of commissioners shall be required when the final plat is submitted for approval.

(b)

The subdivision administrator shall record the final plat when approved and shall have copies reproduced for the various utilities and government departments.

(c)

The final plat original shall be returned to the developer or his engineer, surveyor or authorized representative.

(d)

Approval of the final plat before the improvements are completed shall require an amount of money sufficient to cover the cost of improvements be placed in an escrow account to be released only upon written acceptance by the community development department. This amount is to be based on actual estimate of improvements or $20.00 per running foot of street.
