§ 110-78. Conformity to major thoroughfare plan.

  • The location and width of all streets and roads shall conform to the official major thoroughfare plan. Street plans and profiles shall be approved by the traffic engineer of the county.

    (1)

    Lot access for property fronting on arterial, major collector, and minor collector streets shall be restricted to interior streets.

    (2)

    Developers or persons constructing or causing to be constructed subdivisions on existing public streets and roads shall be required to convey to the county property for use as right-of-way or future right-of-way for public streets and roads as provided in the existing thoroughfare plan of record in the community development department.
