§ 114-95. Specific benefit.

  • Hotel guests and occupants within the district will derive a specific benefit from the local government services and facilities to be paid for wholly or partially by the proceeds of the fee in addition to all other benefits conferred or occasioned by fee revenues, including, without limitation, the development, construction, operation and maintenance of the coliseum project itself, increased mobility and access to the coliseum project site and commercial development through the availability of the public circulator system in the district, easier and more direct access to a recreational and sports facility situated in closer proximity to hotels and places of lodging in the district, and increased recreational and sports tourism, commerce and trade resulting from the coliseum area development and the provision or enhancement of the local government services to be provided to accommodate and support the beneficial impact of the economic development opportunities afforded by the coliseum area development and additional district development stimulated thereby.
