§ 114-143. Severability; repeal of ordinances in conflict.

  • (a)

    Should any one or more of the sections, phases, clauses and sentences of this article for any reason be held to be unenforceable or unconstitutional by the valid judgment or decree of any court of competent jurisdiction, the board intends that such unenforceable or unconstitutional language not affect the remainder of this article and that the same be construed and considered without any reference to the invalid language as if it had been included within the text hereof.

    (b)

    All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with this article, to the extent of such conflict, are hereby repealed.
