§ 118-31. Fines and penalties.

All traffic violations subject to fines or penalties shall be paid by return mail or in person within 20 calendar days of the date of citation, or the accused may appear may appear before the clerk of magistrate court of the county to request a court appearance date. Failure to pay the appropriate fine or request a court appearance date may result in additional penalties. All fines and penalties under this chapter shall be as established by resolution of the board of commissioners. Fines shall be set forth on return mail parking citations issued by law enforcement officers as set forth in this chapter.
