§ 118-88. Certain U-turns prohibited.

  • (a)

    In addition to the rules contained in O.C.G.A. § 40-6-121, no vehicle operated outside a business district shall be turned so as to proceed in the opposite direction upon any street or highway or portion thereof, or at any intersection where markings, signs or other traffic control devices are placed, indicating that such turns are prohibited. The traffic engineer is authorized to designate those intersections, roads or portions of roads where such turns are prohibited.

    (b)

    The making of U-turns may be prohibited between certain hours of any day and permitted at other hours, in which event the same shall be plainly indicated.

    (c)

    This section applies in both the incorporated and unincorporated areas of the county.
