§ 122-53. Authority of department director to halt or prevent discharge of dangerous pollutants.

Nothing in this article shall restrain the department director from having the necessary authority and procedures, after informal notice to the discharger, to immediately effectively halt or prevent any discharge which reasonably appears to present imminent endangerment to the health or welfare of the public or wastewater treatment and collection personnel.
