§ 122-115. Compliance with technical codes.
The size, materials of construction, methods of construction, slope and alignment of all water and wastewater facilities construction shall conform to the technical codes and specifications described below. To the extent that any conflicting provisions exist in the below described technical codes and specifications, the provisions of the earliest mentioned document shall prevail.
(1)
State plumbing code, if in effect in the county. See section 18-256 or the plumbing code in effect in the county as it presently exists or may be amended.
(2)
Standard building code, if in effect in the county. See section 18-121 or the building code in effect in the county as it presently exists or as it may be amended.
(3)
One- and two-family dwelling code, if in effect in the county. See section 18-231 or the dwelling code in effect in the county as it presently exists or as it may be amended.
(4)
The current standards for residential and commercial development in the county, as it presently exists or as it may be amended.
(5)
County cross-connection program, if in effect in the county as it presently exists or as it may be amended. See subsection 122-151(b).
(6)
Water Environment Federation Manual of Practice No. 9, latest edition, for wastewater system construction.
(7)
American Water Works Association Standard Specifications C-100 through C-900, latest editions, for water system construction.
