§ 126-52. Alteration of zones.

  • Any change in the boundaries of a police department precinct or the creation of an additional police department precinct may affect the zones for zone holders during the term of approval for an assigned zone. No person shall be authorized to challenge the alteration of police precincts by the police department, and no vested rights are granted under this article to any such change in police precincts, it being understood that as a part of this Code that the police department, with approval of the board of commissioners, is solely responsible for the establishment of police precincts. The award of a zone permit in such new or additional zone shall be governed as provided in this article.
