§ 14-74. Air traffic regulations.

  • The following air traffic regulations shall govern aircraft using the airport:

    (1)

    During the hours of operation of the ATCT, the airport traffic pattern and movement of aircraft on designated taxiways shall be as directed by the ATCT. During the hours when the ATCT is not in operation, runway 9 is righthand traffic (nonstandard).

    (2)

    Traffic pattern altitude on downwind leg for runways 09 and 27 shall be 2,000 feet mean sea level (1,000 feet above ground level). Traffic pattern altitude on downwind leg for runways 09 and 27 shall be 2,500 feet mean sea level for turbine class aircraft (1,500 feet above ground level).

    (3)

    All landings and takeoffs on runways 09 and 27 will be made from the hard surface runway.

    (4)

    Recommended noise abatement procedures as published and amended by all federal, state and local agencies shall be implemented by all pilots. In no case shall these procedures preempt or take the place of ATCT instructions.
