§ 50-30. Exemptions from article.

  • The permit provisions of this article shall not apply to the following:

    (a)

    Any parcel for which there has been issued prior to the effective date of this article:

    (1)

    Building permit,

    (2)

    Preliminary site plan approval, or

    (3)

    Grading permit.

    (b)

    Emergency work necessary to preserve life or property. When emergency work is performed under this section, the person performing it shall report the pertinent facts relating to the work to the director by the end of the next business day after commencement of the work and shall thereafter obtain a land disturbance permit and perform such work as may be determined by the director or his designee to be reasonably necessary to correct any impairment such emergency work may have caused to the water conveyance capacity, stability or water quality of the protection area.
