§ 78-355. License fee; penalty for late payment.

  • (a)

    The annual license fee for adult entertainment establishment licenses shall be set by the board of commissioners from time to time by resolution. Licenses shall be issued for a period of 12 months only and not for any partial year. No license shall be issued or renewed until and unless all fees and penalties due the county are first paid.

    (b)

    In addition to and not in the alternative to any other penalty which may be provided in this chapter, any licensee or other person who fails to pay any fee, tax or other payment due to the county of any kind when due shall pay, in addition to such fee, tax or other charge, a separate penalty equal to ten percent of the required fee, tax or other charge, for each period of 30 days, or portion thereof, following the due date, until paid in full, including penalties.
