Chapter 83. NUISANCES |
Article IV. PUBLIC SAFETY NUISANCE |
§ 83-23. Public safety nuisance.
In the interests of health, safety and welfare of citizens and the community, it is found and declared that when a property owner allows illegal activity to occur on its property within unincorporated Cobb County and fails to take reasonable steps to abate the activity, the same offends accepted community standards and creates a danger to members of the public, constituting a public safety nuisance. By denying criminal offenders the use of real property as a base of operations, the burden on law enforcement is reduced and neighborhood revitalization is promoted.
