§ 83-24. Definitions.

Building means the portion of the building within or outside the structure in which a nuisance is maintained or permitted, such as a dwelling unit, room, suite of rooms, office, common area, storage area, garage or parking area.

Operator means the manager or person who controls the day-to-day operation of the business or commercial establishment.

Property means any real property and any building or structure(s) thereon, including all spaces within a building or structure (e.g., any dwelling unit, room, suite of rooms, office, storage areas) or outside the building or structure, (e.g., green space, common area, garage or parking areas, storage areas).

Property owner means the current owner of record to the property.

Public safety nuisance means the erection and/or continuation of a nuisance that tends to annoy the community, injure or place at risk the health or safety of citizens in general, and/or corrupt the public morals of the community as more fully described in section 83-26.
