§ 86-27. Closing hours, days; access to premises.

  • (a)

    All county schools shall be closed between the hours of 12:01 a.m. and 7:00 a.m., and no person shall be authorized to be in the schools during those hours, except authorized county employees, county board of education employees, members of the county board of education, and persons engaged in activities authorized by the county superintendent of schools, the principal of the individual school, or the county board of education.

    (b)

    All county schools shall be closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and all authorized holidays and vacation periods, and no person shall be authorized to be in such schools on the days and during the periods enumerated in subsection (a) of this section, except authorized county employees, county board of education employees, members of the county board of education, and persons engaged in activities authorized by the county superintendent of schools, the principal of the individual school, or the county board of education.

    (c)

    No person shall be authorized to be on premises owned by the county school system adjacent to any county school between the hours of 12:01 a.m. and 7:00 a.m., except authorized county employees, county board of education employees, members of the county board of education and persons engaged in activities authorized by the county superintendent of schools, the principal of the individual school or the county board of education.
