Section 2-26, use of voting machines, was removed based on O.C.G.A. § 21-2-300 stating that the equipment used for casting and counting votes in county, state, and federal elections shall be the same in each county in this state and State Election Board Rule 183-1-12-.01 mandating the use of direct recording electronic voting units for in-person voting and optical scan ballots for absentee voting.
