§ 2-41. Contracts for water, sewers and similar facilities.

  • Cobb County, and the board of county commissioners thereof, shall be expressly authorized and empowered to contract for a period not exceeding 50 years with any public agency, public corporation, city, town, county or authority, and they with Cobb County, for water, sewer or other activities and transactions as such subdivisions are by law authorized and any and all contracts concerning water and sewage heretofore so entered into by Cobb County, or the board of county commissioners thereof, are expressly ratified and approved. This authorization shall be cumulative of all other powers authorized and delegated to Cobb County, the board of commissioners of Cobb County, and other governmental subdivisions, cities, towns and counties by other laws of whatever kind and nature and this enactment shall not limit or restrict such power or authority in any way.
