§ 2-52. Unlawful agreements by candidates involving disposition of county work or appointments.

  • It shall be unlawful for any candidate, either for the office of chairman or commissioner, or for nomination to either of such offices, to enter into any agreement or understanding with any person as to the disposal of any work or appointment which is or shall be under the control of the chairman or commission, and any person so offending shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and on conviction shall be punished as prescribed in the Code of Georgia.
