§ 18-52. Records and procedure.

  • (a)

    The director of community development or his designee shall serve as a nonvoting secretary for the development and inspection division home builders advisory board and shall make a detailed record of all its proceedings, which record shall set forth the reasons for the board's decision, the vote of each member participating therein, the absence of any member, any failure of a member to vote, and other matters.

    (b)

    The development and inspection division home builders advisory board shall establish rules and regulations for its own procedure not inconsistent with the provisions of this Code, and shall meet at such times as may best serve the needs of the business of the county building inspections department. In case of dispute or conflict as to the times of meetings, the decision of the chairman of the development and inspection division home builders advisory board shall be final. In the event of the filing of any appeal as to which the development and inspection division home builders advisory board's recommendation is sought, the board shall meet in sufficient time to consider and make its recommendation on the appeal.
