The board of commissioners may designate stormwater management assessment districts
throughout the county. Thereafter, each owner of property in the county located within
each individual stormwater management assessment district shall pay a stormwater management
assessment determined by the board of commissioners with consideration being given
to the projected costs to be incurred by the county in undertaking the duties and
responsibilities of the county in accordance with the terms and provisions of this
article.
(b)
All funds collected by the county in accordance with subsection (a) of this section
shall be used to establish and maintain a stormwater management assessment fund.
