§ 50-158. Inspection requirements during construction.

  • After commencing initial site operations, in addition to any inspections by the department, the permittee shall provide for regular inspections to be certified to the manager by a registered professional engineer at construction stages. Periodic inspections of the stormwater management system construction shall be conducted by the staff of the community development agency or conducted and certified by a professional engineer who has been approved by the community development agency. Construction inspections shall utilize the approved stormwater management plan for establishing compliance.

    All inspections shall be documented with written reports that contain the following information:

    (1)

    The date and location of the inspection;

    (2)

    Whether construction is in compliance with the approved stormwater management plan;

    (3)

    Variations from the approved construction specifications; and,

    (4)

    Any other variations or violations of the conditions of the approved stormwater management plan.

    If any violations are found, the applicant shall be notified in writing of the nature of the violation and the required corrective actions.
